Sony EX Monitor Earphones  are a wired earset that sets out to ensure you enjoy high-resolution treble and midrange with powerful bass produced from Sony MDR-EX15AP's 400 kJ/m3 high power neodymium magnets. The cord length is that much longer so that the earphones can easily reach your ears and stay connected to the device you're playing music or podcasts on.
